Cristina Aranda joins Narrativa as our new Business Consultant

Good news! Narrativa continues to grow with top professionals like Dr. Cristina Aranda, who starting this month, will be our new Business Consultant.
We could not be more happy and proud to include in our ranks an authority with a career like Dr. Aranda’s. She is a Doctor of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and an expert in Artificial Intelligence. She was also founder of MujeresTech and recognized by Business Insider as one of the 30 Spaniards in the world of technology that should be followed on Twitter.

About Dr. Cristina Aranda
Dr. Cristina Aranda has a consolidated track record. She is a Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) consultant, specializing in Intelligent Process Automation and Natural Language Processing and is co-founder of Mujeres Tech, a non-profit association that aims to promote initiatives that drive women to different positions in the digital sector.
Additionally, Dr. Aranda is co-founder of the ELLIS Alicante center, dedicated to addressing fundamental challenges in AI with a focus on research excellence and social impact, and a co-founder of the Spain AI Aragón community.
Dr. Aranda is an advisor on technology and diversity for different public and private institutions as well. She belongs to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation‘s Red.es gender committee and leads technology for the Government of Aragón’s COVID-19 think tank. In October 2018, she was recognized by Business Insider as one of the 30 Spaniards and top 100 women in the world of technology to follow on Twitter. In 2019, Emprendedores magazine recognized her as one of the nine youngest entrepreneurial influencers in Spain and in December 2020 was considered one of the 20 most influential people in the Digital sector in Spain by Merca2 magazine. She was also a speaker at TEDxZaragoza2018 and will be at TEDxEixample2021.
Studies
Dr. Aranda has a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, a BA in Hispanic Philology and a Master’s degree in Internet Business. She is also a Social Innovation Fellow at the US Embassy in Spain. She has served as a Professor for the Professional Master’s program in Innovation and Creative Technology at Hoala, the Post Digital Communication Master’s program at UCM and also as Director and Professor for ISDI’s Data in Real Life graduate course. Dr. Aranda is currently earning yet another graduate degree in Digital Humanities from the Meridian International Center.
