Narrativa is recognized by Samsung as one of the most important companies in the NLG field

This week, Samsung Next launched the first edition of their Synthetic Media Landscape study, which offers an overview of ‘synthetic’ media worldwide. In the study, the South Korean company recognizes Narrativa as one of the most innovative companies in the field of natural language generation (NLG).

The term ‘Synthetic Media’ refers to media content which is generated through artificial intelligence. For example, voice modification or digital experiences created from scratch. Although we often hear about the negative consequences of these types of developments, Samsung Next wants to change the focus by recognizing the developments made by some companies on a global level over recent years.

Overall, 158 companies have found their way into the study, which includes the following categories: voice recognition and synthesis, music and sound, image, video, video games, avatars, mixed reality, consumer protection and natural language generation.

Since it began, Narrativa has been looking for innovative solutions for improving the efficiency of companies and organizations through its use of artificial intelligence. The generation of news articles about sport and finance, or content creation for e-commerce are yet more examples of how the future might look in the field of NLG.
